David Hubbell

I am a native Chicagoan. Born in 1958. I came out in 1977. I have waited tables, DJ’d, taught 4th grade, and retail. I tested HIV positive in 1985. (It was a scary time and still is.) I am interested in photography, book collecting, advocating for healthcare reform, HIV advocacy, and aging issues for LGBT individuals. I am involved with the Howard Brown LGBT Seniors advisory committee. Also I am a member of CSAC, Chicago Syndemic Advisory Council which functions to distribute federal dollars to healthcare organizations in Chicago and the surrounding counties. I am retired and work as a house sitter at times. My partner's name is Kevin and we have been together for 14 years. I have a bachelors in history and a masters in education. I am a big movie buff.
