David Hubbell

I am a native Chicagoan. Born in 1958. I came out here in 1977. I have waited tables, DJ’d, taught, retail. I tested hiv positive in 1985. (It was a scary time). I am interested in photography, books, healthcare reform, hiv advocacy, and aging issues for LGBT+ folks. I am involved with the Howard Brown LGBT+ Seniors advisory committee. I also am a member of CAHISC, Chicago Area Hiv Integrated Services Council which functions to distribute federal dollars to hiv organizations in Chicago and the collar counties. I am retired and work as a house sitter at times. My partner's name is Kevin and we have been together for 11 years. I have a bachelors in history and a masters in education. I am a big movie buff. I just love film.
