She/Her/Any, masculine nouns (e.g. sir, bro, dude, man, son, etc.) Age: born in 1997I am a South Asian Muslim woman. While I prefer to refer to myself by masculine nouns, it is important to recognize my experiences as an AFAb person and since I am genderfluid, I am not divorced from my identity as a woman. I am Aromantic, Bisexual, and Genderfluid. I was born in Pakistan and am a first generation immigrant. A good chunk of my childhood was spent in New Jersey, but I've also lived in Pakistan for some formative years. I've been in Illinois since 2010.
I felt this project would be beneficial to my understanding of self and my peers of varying generations. I also hoped to find community and aid in my own research and effort for South Asian queers like myself.
