Hi there! My name is Ashley, I am a writer, arts administrator, and creative from North Texas who aims to highlight and support artists in the hope of fostering a more inclusive, equitable, and connected cultural landscape. I am currently pursuing my MA in Arts Administration and Policy from SAIC. In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping, cooking, and writing.

I wanted to participate in this project to learn more about LGBTQ+ history and to share my own—and listen to others'—queer experience(s) in order to generate a greater sense of personal belonging in this community. I'm also hoping to gain more understanding about myself and others' multifaceted identities.
