I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in and around Northeast Ohio. I'm an artist, a writer, and a researcher, who lives in Wicker Park with my 2 cats and partner, where we cook at home and read before bed. I am interested in work connecting the past and present through writing and art, and embracing mixed mediums.

I joined this project to expand my understanding of what it means to be queer in a personal sense and a community sense. I think that in a modern context the meaning of LGBTQ+ identities and terms can be so confusing, and I want to understand where these terms came from, who fought for our rights, and to have grounds to stand on when I say I am who I am.
