I'm Chase Kaiser and I am an artist and educator. I identify as a gay and am a proud LGBTQ community advocate. I am a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a Masters of Art in Art Education. My research as an artist and educator focuses upon LGBTQ intergenerational dialogue and issues that our community has faced, could face, and are currently confronting. I am inspired by ideas of queer thriving, and have always been fascinated by the resilience of LGBTQ people. I love Chicago, and have been here for 7 years. You can find me at Vietnamese restaurants with a bowl of Pho, the bar enjoying a good cocktail, or shopping for new pieces to add to my exclusively black wardrobe on Michigan Avenue. I am very honored and privileged to be apart of this project, and Chicago's extraordinary LGBTQ community.
