They/She/He

Didi (they/she/he) is a non-binary transgender, native Chicagoan who has lived around the city, in the suburbs, out of state, and overseas. They are well-educated with a Bachelor’s and two Masters degrees. As such, they have worked as business administrators both in corporate and nonprofit sectors. In education, they have worked locally as an Instructor in local colleges, and abroad as a high school teacher at an international school, and as instructors at two foreign universities.

These days, Didi is enjoying retirement by reading voraciously (audiobooks are preferred), studying foreign languages, cooking ethnic cuisines, trying to stay fit through Pilates, yoga, line dancing and ballet, and writing poetry and short stories, She is an ensemble member of Tellin’ Tales Theater Company and has performed in a musical and in solo performances. Finally, Didi is co-founder of Rainbow Connection, the LGBTQ+ group of Unity Temple Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Oak Park IL.
