Griffin L-C

I am a fourth year student at SAIC. I grew up in the mountains of northern Utah, often exploring the environments around me: the red rocks and deserts in the south, the salt flats and brine shrimp in the Great Salt Lake, the ponderosa pine and clark's nutcrackers and rattlesnakes and jardine juniper and sagebrush. I am a fiber artist and I love to combine my passions for science and art in my work. I love to forage for plants to use in natural dyeing. I joined this project because I really value community knowledge sharing and I never got to learn from other trans and queer people growing up, so I am looking forward to being able to learn from others and bring my knowledge and care.
