They/Them Age 25I am an interdisciplinary Chicago based artist getting my MFA in Ceramics at SAIC. Prior to moving to Chicago, I lived in Boston which is where I grew up. I spent a long time in Vermont as well in my years at undergrad at the University of Vermont. Being queer and being an artist feel synonymous for me, in that they are both identities which feel born in opposition and frame how I interact and carry myself through the world. My work conceptually is grounded in the queer community and understanding networks of care. I am joining the Generation Liberation project because I believe strongly in the power of community and know that there is so much to be learned from one another. I want to work towards solidarity between different generations queers because being with and understanding one another makes us stronger.
