I am a retired senior, living in Uptown. I was born and raised in Chicago, almost exclusively on the north side. I have lived in many locations and have had many jobs, the longest being 5 years at an ink manufacturer. I have 2 yrs of college experience. I am currently volunteering for a couple of grassroots organizations to help the homeless and get progressives elected and endeavor to get economic justice for Chicagoans. I have had to cope with anxiety and depression for most of my adult life. I have had some ups and downs, but I have been successful so far. I started my transition 5 years ago.

I joined this project to meet people and to provide some of my hard-earned experience with younger people and also learn from them.
