My mother called me Sandra, my grandmother called me Sandy I prefer either one.

I am a mother Grandmother, auntie and retiree. I was born in Old Town and went to Franklin grammar school once I graduated from 8th grade we moved to Uptown where I attended Senn High school, I went to NorthEastern University but I didn't graduate, I worked for Alderman Shiller for a number of years and then for the Cook County Clerk for 26 years. I currently live in Uptown.

I joined this project because I feel I can help fill the gap between older and younger LGBTQ+ folks.
